I'm new to this world of blogging so bare with me and let's start this together!
FIRST BLOG POST! Phew! I know in posts to come I will share the stories of the beautiful individuals, families, and special moments of my clients but first let me take some time to tell you about myself.
Hey! I'm Sara (once Allman, now Browder). I love coffee, a good chai latte, a fall breeze, a day at the beach, trips to the mountains, real estate, photography, and above all my family! Over the last decade my husband, Andrew, and I have built a beautiful life together with my bonus daughter Saige (14), our three littles- Jolene (5), Owen (3), and Lainey (1), and our furry members Hank (a curious 80+ pound silver lab) and Harley (our lap princess and 9 pound miniature dachshund).
Life is chaotic but I try to be still in the fleeting moments. I remember always hearing people say the days are long but the years are short and that took on a whole new meaning when I had children of my own. While I love helping people find their dream homes and ADORE slowing down the clock for others by capturing memories on camera- my biggest accomplishment to date is being a mother to such amazing kids!
My interest in photography started in middle school- which for me was a lifetime ago! During high school I took every art course that was available, so many that my art teacher had to place me in independent study classes so I could continue to spend time at school doing what I loved most. During high school I had art placed in the NC Museum of Art in Raleigh and I went on to pursue photography even deeper. I attended Randolph Community College after high school where I received my Associates of Applied Science - Commercial Photography degree! I knew 20 years ago that this was something that meant a lot to me and then I didn't truly realize how amazing it would be to have a career in something I cared about so much!
Fast forward to 2024, and wow! All those years went by in a flash yet one things has remained true through it all- I LOVE PHOTOGRAPHY! I feel so blessed to be able to do something I enjoy so much and also to meet so many wonderful people along the way. So whether you are new here or you've been around before, thank you! Thank you for the support and for keeping me create the memories I love so much with you!
